विजयवाडा शेडचे "बार्बी डॉल" एंजिन.

गुलाबी आणि चंदेरी रंगसंगतीच्या या एंजिनांना "बार्बी डॉल" असे नामाभिधान आम्हा सर्व रेल्वे फ़ॅन्सकडूनच प्राप्त झालेले आहे. 

दक्षिण मध्य रेल्वेच्या विजयवाडा शेडकडे (खालील स्केच मध्ये दाखवल्याप्रमाणे) लाल आणि निळ्या रंगसंगतीतली पण WAM 4  प्रकारची एंजिने होती. गंमत म्हणजे लाल आणि निळा रंग उलट सुलट करूनही जी रंगसंगती येईल तशीही एंजिने विजयवाडा शेडकडे होती.

WAM 4 आणि त्यांच्या विविध रंगसंगती म्हणजे मज्जा मज्जा आहे नाही ?

South Central Railway's Vijaywada electric loco shed is one of the prominent loco sheds. Vijaywada ("Bezawada" as foreigners used to pronounce it. And hence the shed short form "BZA") is one of the important junctions on Chennai - Howrah and Chennai - Delhi route. It also has Diesel Shed.

BZA shed WAM 4 locos had distinct liveries. From Rust Red to Rust Red + Blue combination. Recently there was a trend in most of the loco sheds to paint its fleet of WAM 4s, WAG 5s and WAG 7s with Pink + Silver colour combination. This combination was popularly known as "Barbie Doll Livery" in railfans.

Now all WAM 4 s in BZA shed are decommissioned. There used to be Red + Blue livery as depicted in the sketch as well as exactly reverse to it (Red and Blue interchanged) by BZA shed.

BZA shed WAM 4 locos have hauled prestigious trains like Grand Trunk Express, Tamilnadu Express and Coromondel Express in past. We have seen BZA WAM 4 loco hauling Dakshin Express and Kazipet - Nagpur passenger here in Nagpur.
