माहूर डेपोची जुनी बस जलद मार्गावर.
२०१२ चा फ़ोटो आहे पण तेव्हाही ही बस जुनीच होती. ७५ किमी अंतराच्या जलद मार्गासाठी पण ही बस देणे म्हणजे माहूर डेपोचा एक जुगारच होता. बसचे सगळ्या बाजूने फ़ोटोज मुद्दाम टाकलेत.
ही बस बघितल्यावर मला १९८० च्या दशकातल्या एका मार्गाची आठवण झाली. आज तो मार्ग आहे की नाही, मला माहिती नाही. यवतमाळ जलद मांडवी. मार्गे आर्णी - माहूर. या बसच्या मार्गफ़लकावर एका बाजूला "यवतमाळ - माहूर पर्यंत जलद - मांडवी" आणि दुस-या बाजूला "मांडवी - माहूर पासून जलद - यवतमाळ" असे लिहीले असायचे. अशा प्रकारची अर्धी जलद आणि अर्धी साधारण बस मी त्यानंतर पाहिली नाही.
Mahur, one of the "Shaktipeethas" in Maharashtra is also a paradise for Busfans. One can get buses from almost all parts of Maharashtra (Except Western Maharashtra and Konkan) over here.
Most of the long route buses travel throughout day and come to Mahur for night hault. These buses return next morning.
Some of the long route buses travel during night to reach Mahur early in the morning and wait for passengers to return to their places till evening and again travel during night to their respective destinations in Maharashtra.
Mahur depot in Nanded division also operates a few short distance routes like the one shown in these pictures.
