Rajdhani - One of the prestigious brand of trains was inaugurated in 1969. First Rajdhani express ran between Howrah and New Delhi and later in 50 years almost all the state capitals were connected with national capital by the respective prestigious air conditioned, superfast luxury services.
During earlier days (prior to advent of LHB), all Rajdhani trains have a distinct livery of Red / Orange with Cream / yellow bands. Even they had loco sets matching with their livery. A few prestigioys trains like Tamilnadu express, Grand Trunk Express, Keral - Karnataka Express, Andhra Pradesh Express had this livery in the era of 70s and 80s.
In 1995, when Shivsena - BJP government captured treasury benches of Maharashtra Legislative assembly, they had a "big" decision of painting yellow band on MSRTC with Saffron one to show their Saffron connection.
I sincerely feel this livery would had been a better choice for them to showcase their feelings.

Sixth in the series is ICF Rajdhani Express livery.
